LOCAL IMPACT
YWAM Ålesund started with a travelling team investing in the young people along the west coast of Norway. Our heart is still to share Jesus with the young people in Sunnmøre, Møre og Romsdal. Our mission is to empower the local youth and community to believe in themselves, discover their potential and take action. We regularly visit youth groups, lead worship and devotionals at elderly homes, support our Prison ministry and invest in local church and youth ministry.
We are a part of running two youth groups and regularly visit other youth groups in the area. Our mission is to empower local youth and inspire them to take action in their faith. We hope to see the next generation go all in for Jesus and proclaim the Gospel.
We host REAL LIFE: Youth Camp at our YWAM location. At this camp, we hope young people will walk away motivated to live their life for Jesus - real life with Jesus. We have teaching, workshops, worship, prayer, creative and outdoor activities, and lots of fun.
Through short term missions, we hope to inspire the next generation to say yes to missions. REAL LIFE: Go! offers a taste of missions. There will be training, team building, and opportunity to practice evangelism, practical service, and more.
