A two-year commitment is preferred, but you are welcome to invest in the ministry for longer!
DTS STAFF
If you are burning for Jesus and have completed a DTS at any YWAM base in the world, you are welcome to apply to be a part of this incredible team. Our Creative and Outdoor DTS’s provide incredible opportunities to be involved in hands-on discipleship with young people who are making the commitment to be a disciple of Jesus.
As DTS staff, we seek to provide you with the maximum opportunity to grow as a leader and use the gifts God has equipped you with during your time with us—spiritually, creativity, adventurously, socially, physically, and more.
BASE STAFF
Join us as a base staff, where you will work alongside others who are passionate about stewarding their tasks and Jesus! We are looking for people who can serve in areas of:

MISSION BUILDER
If you want to contribute some time to serving God and experience life in a thriving community while supporting and investing in the vital work of YWAM Ålesund, come volunteer with us as a Mission Builder!
You choose when to come and how long to stay (as short as one week and as long as three months). We’ll provide a room for you (and food, too, when the school is running), with the understanding of 40 hours of volunteer service given per week. As a Mission Builder, there are always opportunities to serve—whether it’s helping in the kitchen, tackling maintenance projects, coming alongside our hospitality team, working in media, or something else you are skilled at. You don't have to have done a DTS to come as a Mission Builder.
